Nanette Haney
CMHC | Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Hello. My name is Dr. Nanette Haney. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist and I also possess a Doctorate in Trauma Therapy.
I hold the belief that the therapeutic relationship is fundamental to the treatment process. I have faith in the potential of each individual. I am convinced that every person is an authority in their own life and possesses the ability to create the fulfilling life they seek. I have a deep concern for the individuals I am privileged to assist. I celebrate their achievements and share in their grief during times of loss. I believe in the significance of progress and direction.
My practice is extensive and encompasses working with individuals facing challenges such as addiction, PTSD, trauma, tragedy, loss, and illnesses, including but not limited to cancer and complications related to traumatic brain injury. I specialize in assisting seniors, adults, and adolescents who are burdened by depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, and other challenges that detract from peace and happiness in life. My clientele includes first responders, veterans, educators, adolescents, couples, members of the LGBTQ community, men, women, and families from diverse backgrounds.
I adopt a compassionate, non-judgmental, client-centered, and collaborative approach to empower my clients. I am dedicated to listening with empathy, processing past pain, focusing on healing and wellness in the present, and instilling hope for the future.
I utilize a wide array of disciplines and advocate for a holistic approach tailored to each client's distinct and individual needs.
